- Mineralogical, petrological and geochemical investigations on low-temperature metamorphic sequences

- Progressive changes in phyllosilicates (clay minerals) with increasing depth during diagenesis and low-grade metamorphism

- Archaeometry: Petroarchaeological studies on polished and chipped stone tools.

- Mineralogical studies on zeolites from amygdules in basalts
